They aimed to find an external contractor capable of constructing a secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure, ensuring seamless growth with evolving demands.

What was done
In collaborative sessions with the customer, we meticulously understood their challenges and delved into the company’s structure and history to identify areas where we could provide value. Once clarity was achieved, we devised a comprehensive scope and design. To assure a seamless migration, we proposed a Proof of Concept in AWS, setting up a mock infrastructure to validate our approach and ensure client confidence.
In the implementation phase, we established a dedicated VPC with multiple Availability Zones for enhanced resiliency, incorporating both Public and Private subnets. The relocation of databases and applications to the Private environment was executed seamlessly. Leveraging AWS services like Workmail, Route 53, S3, and ELB, we optimized the setup. Furthermore, we automated all processes and deployed scalability groups, ensuring peak performance and accommodating future business growth effortlessly.
Achievement
The migration to the Test and Development VPC was flawlessly executed over a weekend, thanks to meticulous preparation and a detailed implementation plan. Subsequently, within two weeks, the entire range of applications and databases smoothly transitioned to the Production VPC. Our seamless execution led to us being recognized as a Trusted Advisor, ready to support the client in future endeavours and promptly address any inquiries they may have.
